I’m Deborah Pratt, also known as “Miss Deb.”  My passion is to help children to learn to love music and to read and understand music so that they become successful music makers.

Music brings joy to life.  It offers channels of self-expression that help us through difficult times and enable us to share our feelings of happiness during the best of times. I also know from experience and from a growing volume of research that music profoundly and positively impacts the quality of life for all who participate actively in it, from the youngest to the oldest.  Music making is a wonderful and rewarding recreational pursuit.  Come discover how much fun we can have making music together!

For more information about my journey to becoming a Kindermusik teacher see my blog post, Meet the Teacher.  In addition to teaching Kindermusik and piano at Great Northwest Music, I’m also a member of the music faculty at Rogue Community College where I direct the RCC Redwood Community Chorus and the Grants Pass Children’s Choir.
